Some parents have been turned down for all three of their preferred school choices after more parents in South Buckinghamshire applied for places in Cookham.

Special needs and disabled pupils in Northern Ireland are experiencing high levels of bullying.

More than 900 pupils took part in the survey and reported that physical bullying and being left out was a problem for younger children while older people had possessions stolen from them or lies told about them.

The survey was carried out in 145 primary schools across the province.

Teenage mums are being forced out of education according to charity Barnardo.

The charity claims that 70 per cent of teenage mothers are not in education, employment or training and are facing a life of poverty and disadvantage.

It also said that young mums were more likely to face bullying and to truant from school.
