Non-uniform day: Always popular with pupils who can donate 50p each to turn up at school in their own clothes. Sponsored silence: A favourite with teachers who enjoy the quiet life. Running a race: Bullying UK has sponsor forms and T-shirts available to anyone energetic enough to take part in the numerous races and walks held around the UK each year. Why not encourage your friends to take part? Get someone to sponsor your dog too. Try this fundraising idea to keep fit! Quiz night: Always a popular event, you could encourage different departments at work to compete against each other. Quiz forms: A fundraising idea for bright sparks. There's always someone whose knowledge rivals contestants on Who Wants to be a Millionaire so ask him/her to set 100 questions and then sell the forms for £1 each with a small prize to the person who gets most right. Sports events: Organise a football tournament or a five-a-side mini tournament for youngsters with the entry fees donated to Bullying UK. Disco nights: Hold a disco in your local pub or youth club. Ask your friends who are in bands to give their time free to support you. Ask people for ideas for novelty prizes. Christmas Fair: If you're creative make decorations and other gifts. Ask people to give you nice things to sell on the stall. Second hand toys in good condition are good to have too. Ask local shops if they could donate things for you to sell. Car boot sale: Get together with friends and family and sell off all those things you no longer want. Dress down day: Hold a dress down day at work with everyone taking part paying a small sum of money. If you're normally casual then hold a dress-up day! Give a small prize for the best outfit, the jazziest tie or the most embarrassing gear. Car treasure hunt: Ask someone with local knowledge to set questions so that people have to explore their local area. A great way of finding out more about where you live.

Daring exploits: Take part in a parachute jump or sponsored abseil and rope in your friends and colleagues. School dinners: Organise a party with the theme of school dinners and serve up an upmarket version of bangers and mash and jam roly poly and custard. Dress up in school uniforms and hold quizzes. Space Hopper Race: Grab a space hopper and see who is the fastest on this Classic 80's Toy Bring-a-bottle-party-with-a-difference: Set a date for a party in three months time. Ask all the guests to get a bottle and put all their loose change into it for Bullying UK. On party night get them to guess who has collected most money. Celebrity night: Karaoke nights are great fun so why not hold an elimination contest with an entry fee for the charity. Get a dozen colleagues to belt out the latest hits with a prize for the winner. A great fundraising idea would be to record the entrants and then give a copy of the CD to colleagues in return for a donation. Sponsored toddle: Everyone from Grandma to the dog can sponsor the youngest members of the family in a few circuits of the nursery playground School daze: Sponsor a spelling session, a silence or an end of term cake stall. Art treasure: Ask talented friends to draw a picture or make something which can be raffled at your office or school.
