I wrote the poem for someone close to me of whom I knew was getting bullied.

He couldnt see a way out of it, getting abused both verbally and physically became an everyday occurence for him inside and outside of school and he was fast forgetting what life was like before.

It was and still is frustrating to realise that nothing I could do would ever end the torment he was facing day in, day out. By writing this poem I hoped to help him realise that no matter how alone he felt we were all with him and that the light at the end of the tunnel would still be shining no matter how many obstacles stood in the way.

Why is it always the fat, ugly,
geeky one, that gets p-p-p-picked on?

Why is it always the unpopular, quiet,
boring one, that becomes small?

How does one person have the right to
do that to another, with no reason for
their actions?

How come 'The Geek' never has
anything to say?

"What it is is just fun with no harm here or there, look it's already forgotten"

What motivites them to do such a cruel act?

When will it be forgotten? for some within the next 10 minutes and others never

When will the hair loss, weight loss,
depression and pain stop?
