My Bullying Story by Rachael
Bullying in and out of schools is an issue close to my heart. I hated my teenage years in particular, I am 28 years old now and I still have issues with my childhood.
Primary school wasn’t so bad. I was called carrot head a few times by older kids due to the fact I had ginger hair and chased around the school a few times, but generally it was ok. Primary school felt quite safe for me. I went to a small primary school so it felt more homely than a larger one would. I did have plenty of friends and never had any major problems.
I did lack confidence though, I remember playing in the netball team and on a few occasions another School came to play against us. I was terrified, and I mean literally I was so scared.
